Received this email today about the writing on the airplane door. (see pic below):

"Re:  Your post from the 17^th, “those silly chinese” – the writing on the aircraft door in the photo is actually Japanese.  Similar to Chinese, they use many similar characters, but this one is clearly Japanese and definitely not mainland Chinese.  FWIW.

On the other hand the Chinese banners with the ‘ba-yi’ logo (like the propaganda posters, your Sep 24 post ‘we are here to help’) and the other signage there is decent mainland Chinese.  The star logo is very like the logo of the PLA.

Ah the details. Well most likely the writing on the plane door will never be seen close enough on film to make out what it is. On the other hand, could the Chinese be coming over in Japanese planes covertly?

I received a bunch of photos from the Pontiac location. Filming here begins tomorrow. These photos help tell some of the story to come for sure. Great photos guys. You can check them all out here.

Here is a quick video I shot of the end of the chase scene. I was only able to get so close. I will post some great photos of the chase later tonight that were sent to me.

I've been getting info that the Pontiac location is being set up. Vehicles are being staged and shooting will be on Saginaw St. Hopefully we can start getting some oictures of what going on there soon.
