I had a chance to go to the Red Dawn extras party Friday night at the Hard Rock in Detroit. I met a bunch of great people there. I don't know if extras from other films do this, but it seems like there was a lot of friendships made over the course of filming. (I know they had a lot of long days together.) Everyone seemed really proud to be part of this production and are very excited to see the final film. I was also able to dispel some bad rumors about this site and some things that where said on set about it. I'm really glad they like the site so much.

Congratulations everyone on a job well done. Can't wait to see you up on the big screen.

According to the Red Dawn Extras group on Facebook, filming for Red Dawn has wrapped. Next step from here will by a teaser poster and/or trailer. Can't wait!

Just got an email with this short video. This was shot at the old Budd Wheel plant in Detroit, MI at Mack and Connor last week. This looks like one of the paratroopers getting hit by a Spokane, WA police car.
